Environmental Justice
Environmental Justice (EJ) is the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
Since 2014, the Conservation Law Foundation (CLF) has been working to advance EJ efforts in New Hampshire. In Manchester, an Environmental Justice Advisory Group has led efforts to find opportunities to stop lead poisoning and build safer streets.
This movement has spread to become a New Hampshire Environmental Justice movement, through which partners gather monthly at the NH EJ Roundtables to stay connected to initiatives across the state.
Everyone has the right to a healthy environment.
