John Wallace served as Associate Commissioner and General Counsel for NH DHHS for 16 years with duties that included management of legal and licensing units, contract development and negotiations, labor negotiations, but principally work on legislative matters. From 1980 to 1996, Mr. Wallace held a variety of positions with the NH Division of Mental Health and Development Services. Mr. Wallace has served on many boards and commissions including NH’s Health Services Planning and Review Board, Board member and Chair of the Association of State Mental Health Attorneys, seven years as Vice Chairman of the Planning Board for the Town of Bow, and Chairman of the Capital Budget Committee. He also directed the summer games track program for Special Olympics of NH for 25 years. Mr. Wallace received a B.S. from Auburn University (major in Economics) and a J.D. from Tulane University School of Law.
