Dr. Lowell “Chris” Matthews Joins Endowment for Health Board of Directors
The Endowment for Health, New Hampshire’s largest health foundation, has elected Dr. Lowell “Chris” Matthews to its Board of Directors. Matthews, who serves as assistant professor of Organizational Leadership at Southern New Hampshire University, brings an extensive background in global management and leadership strategies.
“We are pleased to welcome Chris to our Board of Directors,” said Randy Foose, board chair for the Endowment for Health. “His knowledge and leadership will be invaluable to the Endowment as we work to improve the health of the people of New Hampshire, especially the vulnerable and underserved.”
Prior to Matthews’ time at SNHU, he served as director of fundraising events for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and as an adjunct professor at Roosevelt University. His research interests include organizational culture, international mergers and acquisitions and global leadership practices.
Matthews holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Delaware, a Master of Business Administration from Roosevelt University and a Doctorate of Business Administration from Argosy University.
Matthews also serves in leadership roles for several national professional organizations and volunteers locally with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Manchester.
