The Endowment for Health was established in 1999 as a statewide, independent, private nonprofit foundation. As New Hampshire's largest health foundation, the Endowment has awarded 500 grants to 194 organizations, totaling more than $22 million to support a wide range of health-related issues and projects in New Hampshire.

Our areas of interest include:

  • Improving the Mental Health of NH's Children and their Families
  • Reducing Economic, Geographic and Social-Cultural Barriers to Accessing Health
  • Oral Health;
  • Applied Research and Data Collection / Analysis that enhances understanding of health-related public policy in New Hampshire
  • Planning, Convening or Technical Assistance to collective groups and nonprofits that support health-related project planning, symposia, and conferences
  • Discretionary needs for short-term, health-related emergency bridge funds that respond to urgent needs and opportunities
